  • Red Flag Warning issued August 23 at 11:59AM PDT until August 24 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Medford OR
  • Western Klamath National Forest; Central Siskiyou County Including Shasta Valley; Siskiyou Mountains; Eastern Rogue Valley; Southern Oregon Cascades
  • The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM PDT Monday.
  • IMPACTS Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  • AFFECTED AREA In California, Fire Weather Zones 280 and 281. In Oregon… Fire Weather Zones 621, 622, and 623. In California, this includes Scott Valley, Shasta Valley, and the Klamath River Valley. In Oregon, this includes the Siskiyou Mountains, the Southern Cascade Mountains, and the Rogue Valley.
  • WINDIn Oregon, west to northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts around 25 mph. In California, south to southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts around 30 mph.
  • HUMIDITYDaytime humidities down to 8 to 15 percent.
