All of the growth was on the north side where it reached the shore of Shasta Lake west of Ski Island, and on the northeast side near Bear Mountain Lookout Road and west of Silverthorn Road. Per KRCR:

According to CAL FIRE Shasta Trinity Unit officials as of 6:58 AM, the Fawn Fire has burned 350 acres overnight in Shasta County and containment lines have increased to 10% as of Friday.

And the number of structures threatened has increased from 2,000 to 9,066 structures threatened by the Fawn Fire.

CAL FIRE says favorable overnight winds allowed firefighters to make good progress mopping up around structures.

All evacuations orders and warnings remain in place for the fire.
