Lightning storms converging on Northern California

Greatest risk of lightning (vs high based showers) will probably be overnight as trough axis provides a focus for deeper convective development, but there’s a slight chance that some of the cells moving northward today could produce some strikes before that (there are nearly continuous C-G strikes still being detected in the moisture plume west of Los Angeles, FWIW).
