PLATINA, Calif. — An evacuation order for the west side of Highway 36, between Cannon Road and the South Fork of Cottonwood Creek, west to Vestal Road and south to Cannon Road and Vestal Road intersection has been reduced to a warning.
The order had been issued due to the McFarland Fire.
The McFarland Fire burning near the community of Platina in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest has burned 110,132 acres and is 51% contained.
