.Very low afternoon humidities combined with gusty winds will
create conditions approaching or meeting Red Flag Warning criteria
through the weekend.

SUNDAY EVENING FOR STRONG GUSTY WIND WITH LOW RH FOR FIRE WEATHER
ZONES 281 AND 282...
The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Fire Weather
Watch...which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Sunday
evening.
* Impacts: Strong, gusty wind with low relative humidity and
critically dry vegetation will greatly increase the spread
potential of any new and existing fires.
* Affected area:
In Northern CA...Fire Weather Zones 281 and 282. This includes the
Shasta Valley from Yreka southward, including the communities of
Weed, Mt Shasta City, Dunsmuir, and McCloud.
* Wind: South 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
* Humidity: 8 to 12 percent
