1m · The Lava fire is increasing in intensity due to the South winds today. The entire area is under a Red Flag warning for high heat, low relative humidity and strong south winds. You’ll notice the smoke column is leaning towards the North. Expect large fire growth to the North and East today. They have two potential spots to hold this fire. The UP railroad tracks and if that doesn’t work Highway 97. Both will be difficult. Praying for all the firefighters working under these difficult conditions.
