An Evacuation Order has been issued for Zone: SIS-2100-A and an Evacuation Warning has been issued for Zone: SIS-2100-B – per the Genasys Evacuation Map

Hikers need to avoid the areas of Cliff and Campbell Lakes, including the PCT and other trails in the vicinity, as well as the Shackleford Trailhead. Smokejumpers are on scene, along with numerous aircraft. Additional ground resources are in route – per the Klamath National Forest

Radio traffic indicates that there is increasing fire activity and winds in the area and that the fire is now approx 6 acres with multiple spots outside the line.

The fire has been mapped at 2.2 acres by CAL FIRE Intel aircraft. Their perimeter is visible on the Watch Duty map under the Active Fire Perimeters map layer.

Note: Fire perimeters are preliminary and indicate general burn area but do not reflect structure protection efforts by firefighters. A structure within a fire perimeter may not be damaged or destroyed.

Smokejumpers are responding to the Summit Fire, estimated at 1.5 acres near Summit Meadow Lake, approximately 3.5 miles southwest of the Shackleford Trailhead and near the Pacific Crest Trail. Additional aircraft have been ordered – per the Klamath National Forest

2 to 3 acre vegetation fire with a moderate rate of spread and moderate potential. Active fire on the left shoulder – per Air Attack.

Fire is located west of the Pacific Crest Trail

Evacuation warnings dropped except for SIS-3211.

The fire’s final size is 24.4 acres and is currently 10% contained. An Evacuation Warning remains in place for Zone: SIS-3211 – per CAL FIRE SKU

The Evacuation Order has been reduced to an Evacuation Warning for Zone: SIS-3211 and the Evacuation Warnings have been lifted for Zones: SIS-3107, SIS3206, SIS-3208, SIS-3315, SIS-3316SIS-3318, SIS-3317, SIS-3212 – per the Genasys Evacuation Map.
