Welcome to the Fire Safe Council of Siskiyou County!
A Fire Safe Council is a coalition of public and private sector organizations that share a common, vested interest in wildfire prevention and loss mitigation. Councils are dedicated to saving lives and reducing fire losses by making their communities fire safe.
The Mount Shasta Area Fire Safe Council will be meeting at 3:30 P.M. this Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Recreation Building (Upper Lodge) of the Mt. Shasta City Park.
Topics will be discussion of our U.S. Forest Service funded project in Shasta Uplands located in the south Mt. Shasta area plus our latest proposal to CAL FIRE’s prevention grant that targets fuel reduction along Old Stage Road and some surrounding areas. Hope to see you there!
